And now my boy's in love. All hearts and flowers. But, doesn't it freak you out that she used to change your diapers? I mean, when you think about it, the first woman you boned is the closest thing you've ever had to a mother. Doing your mom and trying to kill your dad. Hm. There should be a play.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Back when Due South was airing, there wasn't a separate Procedurals thread.

Also, originally, Boxed Set was all about the Ho-Yay, and only gradually morphed into a genre-show thread.

Would we discuss the Librarians show here? Or does it qualify as cable drama? It's not really drama, but it is cable. But it's much more Boxed Set in terms of genre. So confusing!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The last TV movie had vampires in it, so I'd think it would fit in Boxed Set.

Ann, that's a ferret.

The TV movies were Indiana Jones-lite. I'd say Boxed Set as well.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Watching Sleepy Hollow. Thinking that the Golem would be really handy right now.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaah, this show. Poor Irving.

I called the Henry thing, because the show's been telegraphing his redemption all season. Although maybe it's not redemption; maybe they come back in January and he's still evil, but he just got pissed enough at Moloch that he got all stabby.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I call foul on Irving! First they shunt him off to the asylum, than when they bring him back in, it's only to sacrifice him!

Orlando was one of the main attractions of Season 1! WTF show?

Well, they made a point of mentioning that Henry still owns Irving's soul, and Henry is still around, so Irving may turn up again. Possibly the undead minon of Henry, but hey.

Yeah, I'm sort of hoping. And... what was their plan? Because it seems like it was a bad plan. Sketchy at best. Hope Henry would be redeemed by Ichabod's speechifyng about Isaac/Abraham at the church? But if that didn't work, hope that Henry would mull things over on the walk to Moloch after the church shenanigans and, in combination with Moloch being a dick to Henry, that would cause Henry to stabinate Moloch instead of the lot of our heroes? I'm so confused.

On the other hand -- Irving going out a mighty, sword-fighting hero was great. Except for the Irving going out part.

Ichabod's motorcycle infatuation. Adorbs.

Abbie's general badassery... except for the part where I'm still sort of confused about what her plan was... was cool. The I'll use the sword, and if I fail, you pick it up, and so on speech was a good, rousing bit.
