I've been enjoying Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer a lot, but that whole couture dress and diamond necklace routine with Felicity made me give him a total side-eye. I also harrumphed at the fact that Felicity was successfully won over by this ridic 80's Harlequin romance tactic. The fact of the matter is, while the writers for this show have movingly portrayed fantastic family and team dynamics in the past, they can't write romance for shit. That whole love triangle was just wall-to-wall cliches.

Was it just me or did that guy playing Captain Boomerang have, like, 10 times the presence of the dude they tapped for Ra's al Ghul? He had a fantastic voice, too.
