Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Arrow:

Poor Ollie. Palmer steals his company, his love interest and his salmon ladder.

Or at least I'd say "Poor Ollie" if it wasn't his own stupid fault.

I will give the actress playing Cupid credit, she managed to play the over-the-top crazy without going completely into camp territory.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Glad to see Felicity's reaction to the salmon ladder is much like mine ... ours?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They didn't actually show him doing the ladder, though.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Casting rumors for Jessica Jones and Luke Cage.

Not sure if Krysten Ritter is right for the role, but I like Krysten Ritter.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

My thoughts exactly, Tom.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Of those four? Ritter all the way. Jessica de Gouw is gorgeous but cannot act (although she did improve a bit by her last appearance as Huntress on Arrow) and Daddario was TERRIBLE on White Collar. I don't know Theresa Palmer.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I apologize if I missed it if anyone posted a link earlier, but our own Knut (AKA David Schwartz) has a funny piece up: A Fox Studio Exec Meets With The Creative Team Of Sleepy Hollow, An Incomplete Transcript

So worth the read!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

ita, they showed Palmer (Felicity's new boss) using a salmon ladder - not QUITE as impressive as Oliver, but good enough to leave her at a loss for words.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I watched the editing carefully and there aren't two sequential jumps. It's back and forth camera angles and sound effects, and him hanging more than anything else.
