Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

He said it made him feel better, for some reason, which made me very happy.

Stickers do make things better! I was feeling sad because NY is back to the scanners this year after a brief return to ka-THUNK levers, but then I got a sticker and I felt better.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

There you go. ETA: to be clear the "for some reason" was what Ichabod said, not my commentary.

Also, am I misremembering or doesn't Ichabod have a (fake) US passport now? So technically he could have registered to vote, if his cabin in the woods has an address.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

That's what I was thinking!

Maybe that seems too fraudulent for his patriotic sensibilities.

What -t said. He wouldn't cheat on something that important.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

But he IS a US citizen. IJS, it wouldn't be fraudulent, just... unprovable.

But was he declared legally dead?

Doesn't really matter if he was; he's what, 149 years old? It's not like he has to fight that death certificate in court. He's as legal as that passport. He is in fact a US citizen, just an improbably old one, even though the passport is by unfortunate necessity fake. There's no reason he should feel bad about behaving as one.

You also don't legally NEED a government-issued ID to vote in New York. (I don't remember what's necessary to register in the first place. I think the address would be a bigger problem than the ID, but he can always claim he's living with Abby since she's paying all of his bills.)
