Angel: Eve. So, I guess we should, I don't know, talk? Eve: About what? Angel: About what happened back there with us. Eve: Angel, it's not like this is the first time I've had sex under a mystical influence. I went to U.C. Santa Cruz.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

That's decidedly no one I'd have guessed.

I did say you'd never guess. Heh.

I'm a huge Garbage fan and I'm betting that she can pull it off. Yay!

I am also a huge Garbage fan, and I don't think they'd give her a regular role if they didn't think she could pull it off. This is going to be so cool.

Also, she will be keeping her Scottish accent.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Under our Summer Casting Rules, that casting announcement is considered a spoiler. I'm not going to delete all the posts here (because there's a lot of them and because no one seems to care), but I did delete the mention in the Music thread.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I am rewatching the series premiere of Reaper, and it was the father that was dying. So, I'm sticking to the theory that the Devil's fun twist on "don't let me die" was to make the father immortal in some way.

Hmm, I wonder if the pages his dad destroyed in the contract were just references to this, or also included some clause for how Sam could get his soul back that would be detrimental to his father. If this turns out to be the case (which looks likely).

That makes sense. Maybe if dad forfeits his immortality, Sam goes free. Although, I don't think Sam would let him do that. In the premiere Sam refuses to forfeit his mother's life in exchange for not having to do the devil's bidding, despite his mother saying it was ok.

I don't think so, his dad seems to care about him, and that's not parent behavior. I think that maybe the price for Dad's (unasked for) immortality was that Mom had to carry the Devil's child.

also, thanks Jon.

I really don't want Sam to be the devil's son.
