I think Irving's possessed daughter killed him.
I was just cheering that Katrina actually managed to do something in this episode.

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I miss Irving and want him back soon.
I really DON'T want that kind of tension between Abbie and Ichabod
ICHABBIE IS CANON
(I miss Irving too)
(I don't get the point of Katrina, but if she disappears, the expectation will be for literal Ichabbie, which I'm not actually down for, despite chants)
Actually, I kind of liked Katrina having a dark side ... and, actually, doing something ... anything.
The way Ichabod said, "Lieutenant! Lieutenant!" then, plaintively, "Abby..." when he was trying to rouse her after pulling her out of the water hole in the library slayed me.
Glad Katrina is getting some filling in. I confess, I felt a tiny spark of sympathy for ol' headless Abraham, too.
I hope we get to see more of the re-enactors; I'm sad Ich lost his first non-Witness related friend. She was sweet, and the misunderstanding scene and subsequent apology were kind of adorable.
Misquote! "Leftenant! Leftenant!" (phonetically)
Well, of course! I know you people well enough to know you read an Ichabod quote with Ich's pronunciation. See? Total faith. (Though I did misspell it... twice. Fixed! Still getting used to Galaxy.)
Ha, and I thought I'd have missed all the Sleepy Hollow talk now that I'm watching on Hulu-delay!
I love this show to pieces, I really do. OF COURSE Ichabod has a crazy ex who haunts him from beyond the grave. I mean, of course he does.
And oh yes, Ichabod, we forgot to mention, you can save drowning people by making out with them now. Science!
YAY to the Katrina conversation at the bar. Your wife has been lying to you for 200 years! Time for a reality check!
(I don't get the point of Katrina, but if she disappears, the expectation will be for literal Ichabbie, which I'm not actually down for, despite chants)
Yeah, I don't want that. I like Ichabbie just the way it is. That said, she's in the opening credits now, so I think she's more likely to turn evil than she is to disappear. (She does end up with Abraham in the original story, so.)
And apparently Ichabod really has been going to the reenactments, which I think is kind of sweet. I wonder if he tries not to correct them too much, or if they love him for his fanatical commitment to historical accuracy.
Seriously, Jess, you really have to give Fringe another try because once it got going (and it did take most of the first season to get out of the sorta-X-Files rut) it got so wonderfully crazy. And then took off from there in ways I never thought it could and still worked.
I agree (re: Fringe). Try watching eps 7, 14, and on. If you make it through 2.14 you'll be hooked.
