A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Misquote! "Leftenant! Leftenant!" (phonetically)

Well, of course! I know you people well enough to know you read an Ichabod quote with Ich's pronunciation. See? Total faith. (Though I did misspell it... twice. Fixed! Still getting used to Galaxy.)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Ha, and I thought I'd have missed all the Sleepy Hollow talk now that I'm watching on Hulu-delay!

I love this show to pieces, I really do. OF COURSE Ichabod has a crazy ex who haunts him from beyond the grave. I mean, of course he does.

And oh yes, Ichabod, we forgot to mention, you can save drowning people by making out with them now. Science!

YAY to the Katrina conversation at the bar. Your wife has been lying to you for 200 years! Time for a reality check!

(I don't get the point of Katrina, but if she disappears, the expectation will be for literal Ichabbie, which I'm not actually down for, despite chants)

Yeah, I don't want that. I like Ichabbie just the way it is. That said, she's in the opening credits now, so I think she's more likely to turn evil than she is to disappear. (She does end up with Abraham in the original story, so.)

And apparently Ichabod really has been going to the reenactments, which I think is kind of sweet. I wonder if he tries not to correct them too much, or if they love him for his fanatical commitment to historical accuracy.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Seriously, Jess, you really have to give Fringe another try because once it got going (and it did take most of the first season to get out of the sorta-X-Files rut) it got so wonderfully crazy. And then took off from there in ways I never thought it could and still worked.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I agree (re: Fringe). Try watching eps 7, 14, and on. If you make it through 2.14 you'll be hooked.

brillig

I don't care if I'm the only one, I am enjoying the heck out of Forever.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I'm still enjoying the Flash, but for 3 supposedly smart scientists, Caitlin, Cisco, and Dr. Ed accepted Ronnie's "death" pretty easily when everyone else got superpowers from the particle accelerator explosion. He's going to be back; that's not a spoiler -- it's because he's Robbie Amell. (Also because he's FIRESTORM, y'all.)

LOVED Barry saying he didn't want them to build him a museum.

Also, even if he's shifty as hell, I really like Dr. Wells. (I want a crossover with Archer where Krieger builds Dr. Wells bionic legs.)

Finally, man, this show really makes the men cry a lot.

I like Forever. I'm an ep behind, but you're not alone.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Caitlin's comment about how Ronnie and she were like "Fire and Ice" AHAHAHA oh show SO MUCH CHEESE LET ME GET SOME LACTAID

Robbie Amell looks much better with shorter hair here than he did in Tomorrow People. Also much more like his cousin.

Finally, man, this show really makes the men cry a lot.

I think it's mostly Jesse L. Martin. It's those tragic doe eyes of his, forever on the verge of shedding a tear.

I would watch him making a tuna sandwich. And almost crying about it.

But it also makes Dawson's Dad and Barry cry (or almost-cry) a lot, too. They all need to hug it out big time.
