A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
It is kind of funny how badly some shows pull off tying up a character. Lost was horrible about it. I don't mean it wasn't intricate gorgeous work; it looked like the only thing keeping the rope from actually falling to the ground was sheer luck.
Although perhaps they figured if people believed the smoke monster nonsense, they'd buy anything.
This was pretty believable in the actually-securing-him-to-the-chair department too. Something rather like your corset-rope-tying ran partway up both legs & arms (around the arms & legs of the chair), couldn't see how well the dozen or so strands across his torso were actually secured to the chair, but I believed he wasn't going anywhere. And the knots made really pretty patterns. My first thought was just to wonder how long he had to sit there - getting tied and untied both.
Just went image-hunting, but I couldn't find anything. Google-fu is not with me today.
The Flash: Jesse L Martin being the dad of one of the leads makes me feel old.
ETA: Althought google is telling me he is only 19 years older than her.
Enjoyed Flash.
ETA: oops, wrong thread for the second part.
The Flash: Jesse L Martin being the dad of one of the leads makes me feel old.
He's still yummy.
And Grant Gustin is just the cutest thing ever.
Dr. Ed (I can only ever think of Tom Cavanagh as Ed) better not be evil. Or from the future WHAT WAS THAT LAST SCENE, big lying liar who can walk and has some future holographic newspaper???
I'm pretty happy with it overall.
He's still yummy.
Hand to sky, our nickname for him on Ally McBeal was Dr. Yummy. Still call him that.

Yes, he is.

Is his character from the comics? Are any of the others? I count on you for this information.
IMDB is telling me that the female scientist was in an episode of Arrow as the same character but I can't remember her at all.
I do appreciate them casting John Wesley Shipp as Barry's dad.
My reaction was "Damn, Dawson's dad sure has aged!"
