Oh, the part of the promo where it's Thea training with Malcolm -- I didn't recognize Thea because of her haircut. She reminded me of Charisma Carpenter. Seriously. But I figured it wasn't, since I hadn't heard any casting news.
'Shells'
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Is there a pinwiz-unrelated reason promos are being whitefonted?
For my part, just general disremembering of what's allowed to be whitefonted and what isn't.
IF it was a promo on TV, it's fine.
I just...I hate being faced with a wall of whitefont with the suspicion I might even already know some of it, and could read more without getting spoilt, but instead staying out of the conversation.
Whitefonting seems pretty random right now. It's be easier, I swear, if it wasn't allowed--if it needed white fonting, it belongs in the next spoiler thread down. In clear text.
IF it was a promo on TV, it's fine.
Well, the one I posted was being called (as of yesterday, when I posted it) a "Facebook exclusive." So not on TV. Would that make it whitefonty?
Question - aside from watching on BBCA, what are the other official venues for obtaining eps of New Who. I'm looking at trimming my cable package and DW and Orphan Black are the only things I'd miss. It may be cheaper in the long run to get eps off iTunes or somewhere.
Anne, I'm pretty sure it is a available on hulu plus.
The current season is not available on Hulu Plus, but it can be purchased from Amazon (I believe eps are available next-day).
Unfortunately there is no free legal way to watch anything off of BBCA without a cable subscription.
And even if you have BBCA subscription that gives you legal access, on demand access is held off until all rebroadcasts are complete
Signed Have to wait until Saturday for second episode, either way.
I don't mind waiting a day or two. I did the math and realized it may well be cheaper to buy the 2 BBCA shows I watch for the brief run of time they're on than to pay every month for a whole bunch of cable channels I never use.
