'Sleeper'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Defiance is two episodes again tonight and it's also the finale.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Extant: whoever that little kid is, he's out acting the Oscar winning actress. She's awful. And the escape from the basement scene was extra awful.

Enver, OTOH, is a sexy little minx.

Enver's on Extant? I was not taking that into account. Hm.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

The kid was the kid in Looper, so he has precedent as go to creepy kid.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

What's the Farscape episode with the dream sequence where John and Aeryn get married and then everyone dies bloody?

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Dog With Two Bones. It's the final episode in season 3.

There is a lot I do not understand about Defiance, but I enjoyed all the characters who got to step up and be heroic in various ways.

Compassionately intolerant

I'm totally confused by Defiance myself.

I like the characters a lot but had to bang my head quite hard when the solution for a season-long crisis ended up being so...I dunno...lame?

The BigBad, omnipotent, cruel, serpent of badness is defeated by two people lying down next to each other for 5 seconds.

I was okay with the struggle being all internal with Irisa and Malachi getting Last Temptationed. I don't get what happened when with the previous lives or whatever they were.

More than a little disappointed that Amanda slept with creepy mayor dude.
