A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I think I would have suggested a bandana and braid. Go for the biker dude look.
I was just listening to a rerun of the Fresh Air interview with Jenji Cohan about Orange is the New Black, and was reminded that Laverne Cox has an identical twin brother! So at least that's a thing that could happen in the real world.
But yeah, Tony's look could have been more on point. But I dug the character as a thing -- the line about his having dealt with issues of identity years ago was cool, I thought.

I liked that too. Like, clone, huh? Okay, let me add that to the list of Thing I Have Come To Terms With In My Life.
I did think they could have done a better job with the makeup, and also just in defining his character by something other than gender. (Although on the other hand, it's kind neat that the guy is the one in that situation? When usually on TV/movies, we get Sports Dude, Science Dude, Handsome Dude, Etc Dude, and The Girl.)

Definitely a favorite thing about this show.
And even if this is the last we see of Tony, it will have been worth it just for Felix's "Holy Tilda Swinton" moment.
TRUTH.
No kidding.
I have two major beefs with that AVC review.
Dyad doesn’t know about him because “there was a mistake at the I.V.F. clinic.”
Wrong wrong wrong. Dyad were the ones who made the switch at the IVF clinic. That's how they were able to assign him a monitor. Duh.
We don't really know why Beth kept him a secret from Cosima and Allison, but Beth did a lot of weird secretive shit, like they all do.
A trans clone is also an intriguing concept if only because it highlights the show’s continued dance around “nature vs. nurture.” If it decides that queer Cosima and Tony do have the exact same genes as the rest of the cisgender/heterosexual clones, it’s coming down on the side of “nurture.”
Also wrong.- DNA is not the only thing "nature" puts into the equation. Uterine environment is a HUGE factor in embryonic development.
And even if this is the last we see of Tony, it will have been worth it just for Felix's "Holy Tilda Swinton" moment.
I'm gonna rewatch the episode just for that moment.
