I meant to come in when it happened and now, I'm spacing on what show it was on...maybe Blacklist?...where a character was named Enver. I could NOT stop hearing that and thinking, "Now people know how to pronounce it!"

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't actually know how much more grimdark I can take, although -- who am I kidding? -- I'll give it a shot, if for no other reason than Ryan Atwood. (Although I wonder if I'll actually be able to stop thinking of him as Ryan Atwood and start thinking of him as Jim Gordon.) (I know the actor has a name, but come on. He's always Ryan Atwood to me.)
