Trailer for Gotham: [link]
I'm hesitant, but hey, Donal Logue and Sean Pertwee.
'Origin'
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I don't actually know how much more grimdark I can take, although -- who am I kidding? -- I'll give it a shot, if for no other reason than Ryan Atwood. (Although I wonder if I'll actually be able to stop thinking of him as Ryan Atwood and start thinking of him as Jim Gordon.) (I know the actor has a name, but come on. He's always Ryan Atwood to me.)
Wow- I love Donal Logue (and have since he was a fireman on ER) and Ryan Atwood!
Welcome to the G.C., bitch.
I wasn't super interested before but that trailer makes it look pretty good.
I thought that GC looked good.
I think it looks great!
Welcome to the G.C., bitch.
I tried SO HARD to click "Like" on that post.
How was that just one hour?! So much shit happened. Holy crap.
Ahaha, ARROW. I can't stop laughing at the fact that Thea shot Merlyn. Like father, like daughter. (Of course he's got to have a bulletproof vest on. I'm totally unperturbed by him being shot but cannot stop laughing that poor Thea, whose world is actually *literally* falling part, went and shot him.)
I also laughed my ass off when Felicity hit Isabel with the van. Don't fuck with Felicity Smoak, y'all.
I was initially shocked when Amanda Waller said she would bomb Starling City off the map, but then less shocked. Because the show did a fantastic job of setting up that OF COURSE she would do that, and moreover, I don't exactly blame her.
[This is all a little too "Dark Knight Rises" for me. I need to start watching some lighthearted shows, seriously.]
Poor Sebastian. He was clearly going to die from the start, but I do like that he did the right thing in the end. Even though he was a leeeetle bit batshit crazy.
And YAY Cop Daddy getting his detective shield back! So now I think he's going to die, god damn it.
And, randomly, Anatoly is always awesome.
My body count prediction for the finale is (1) at least one Lance, either Sara or Quentin, more likely Sara (I hope not both); (2) Isabel; (3) possibly Roy. I actually don't expect Slade to die (although I sort of think he's crazy enough to kill himself if he's defeated).
