Tara: Do you have any books on robots? Giles: Oh, yes, dozens. There's a lot of research to be done in order to--no, I'm lying. Haven't got squat. I just like watching Xander squirm.

'Get It Done'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Sara went to get Nyssa, y/y? What other old friend could she be talking about?

That's what I was assuming. Or possibly Anatoli?

My unspoiled assumption about the finale is that Amanda Waller and the Suicide Squad will show up to help Ollie, along with Nyssa and the League of Assassins, and Malcolm and whatever forces he can command.

How old would Oliver's kid be now

The flashback had "7 years ago" slapped on it, I think

I totally forgot that in the comics, Ollie has a biological kid. This could be interesting or really annoying.

Also, can someone just write a personal check for 1 million dollars? That just seems way too large to write a check for. I don't know why that bothers me.

I'm really worried that Sara is next.

Me, too.

I missed that, thanks! I blame allergies.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm really worried that Sara is next.

Well, Slade more or less announced that Sara is next...

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

IGN just reminded me that Oliver said "no one dies tonight," earlier in the episode.

Geez, twist that knife a little harder, why don't you.

Over on FB, Barb was wondering if it's not Sara, but Ollie's kid. That would be supremely fucked up. But I'm also assuming it's Sara, because she lived when Shado died, and Slade Crazytrain Wilson resents that deeply. (Also, the show has been foreshadowing her death with ridiculously anvillicious dialogue in the past several episodes.)

Ouch. Can't we find a Lazarus pit for Moira? It worked for Malcolm. (Okay, I have no idea how Malcolm returned, but given the Ra's Al Ghul connection, my assumption is Lazarus pit.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Well, she knew, so she had to be taken out of the picture. Can't have Ollie have too balanced a life.

I am impressed--finally past Ollie's hair looks good. I know "island" isn't good treatment for the follicles, but it had that "space from the scalp" look.

What's the term for Arrow fandom? There's a poster at IO9 who does pretty decent recaps, less pissy and snarky than the official ones (seriously, that's not the side of TWOP to carry on--there were good reviews too). If anyone's interested I can post a link to them when this week's goes up.

I've been trying to write SPN recaps (for me, not for IO9 like a couple years ago) and FUCK. I do appreciate a well written one by someone into the show ten times more every time I sit down and try. My goal is to make up for that with plenty of screencaps.

Even, if he did mean Sara, I'm hoping he doesn't succeed in killing anyone else.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

IGN just reminded me that Oliver said "no one dies tonight," earlier in the episode.

Oh, right. Ouch.

I got all focused on Diggle telling Felicity that there's no force in the universe that could make her a bad person and hoping that isn't setting us up...

I don't even know why Esther (is it Esther?) does the recaps, because she doesn't even seem to like the show.

Yes, please.

Cindy's LOST recaps on TWOP were things of beauty.

I got all focused on Diggle telling Felicity that there's no force in the universe that could make her a bad person and hoping that isn't setting us up...

I can't see how making Felicity bad would be anything but jumping the sharknado. I *can* see a scenario where she crosses her own moral "Do Not Cross" line for the greater good of Team Arrow, and I'm fine with that.

Well, Slade more or less announced that Sara is next...

With 3 more episodes to go, I don't think the show is going to dial itself down until the finale. I'm expecting more death. Or a literal sharknado.

Now I'm scared that Felicity is going to be injected with Mirakuru.

Yeah, I know. I mostly don't want Sara to die because I'm afraid that will mean Laurel will take her place as the Black Canary, and I really can't stand Laurel.
