Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I've finally been able to get around to Orphan Black. Just watched the first two episodes and OMG this show is already a monster of HSQ! It has the feel of mid-period Fringe (before they went REALLY went off the deep end, which I loved, but this is still grounded in one universe). I'm in awe of Tatiana - where did they find her?
Bonus: The opening theme is hilariously jaunty yet creepy.
Isn't it fantastic? And the HSQ keeps climbing!
New season starts tomorrow!
Frank, the one thing I can't do so far is really binge-watch -- every episode is so intense, I wind up being really anxious. It's a fantastic concept, and Tatiana Maslany is just amazing.

Canada! She'd been in some Canadian stuff like Being Erica. And lots of other small things with critical acclaim.

See, that's what makes me want to watch the next one NOW! Like I had to watch the third episode tonight too, because of the way they introduced Cosima at the very end of the second. HAD to see what what happened next.
Ugh, I am almost done with a marathon re-watch; the season premiere snuck up on me!
It's so damn awesome, but the Alison&Felix Show is gold. They're my OB OTP.

Isn't it though? And the viusals too, quite beautiful but disturbing. I just finished season one this week. I still only recognise intellectually that some of those characters are played by the same person. While watching, it just doesn't enter my head.
I seriously can't relate one single person playing all those characters. Even when I see Tatiana interviewed, it still doesn't click. My brain will jump up and say, "Oh, I hope they bring on the actress who plays Alison!" and then I quickly realize, "Um... that is the actress who plays Alison."
I'm also thrilled that Orphan Black was nominated for a Hugo! “Variations under Domestication” is one of my favorite episodes!
And yes, I could watch Felix and Alison interact for hours!
