No studying? Damn! Next thing they'll tell me is I'll have to eat jelly doughnuts or sleep with a supermodel to get things done around here. I ask you, how much can one man give?

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yeah, I'd like that to be a little more explicit.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I've always had the impression that the "royals" were a specific type of Wesen that we haven't seen the true form of.

It does seem as though royal blood is meant to be more than just a snobbish prestige thing.

Is Nick's girlfriend still around?

Yes and her vet med knowledge is relevant and useful surprisingly often. The way she dives into research is amusing, too.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I am glad to hear that Juliette is a substantive and worthy character on her own. My BFF likes Grimm, so she's looking forward to sharing it with me.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

That's really surprising to me, given what I've heard her say about the importance of Janeway to women and to women scientists.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

OH KATE MULGREW NO

On yet another irritating news, Google Now totally spoiled me with a major plot point for an upcoming Arrow ep today. The hell? GOOGLE NOW, THIS IS THE OPPOSITE OF HELPFUL.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Oh, man, I am so spoiled for the rest of the season. I haven't sought out spoilers like this since the last season of Buffy.

Summary of spoilers: people do some stuff. And other stuff. And then other people react to the stuff and do some stuff of their own. And some other other people talk about it. And there are arrows.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I wasn't a particularly huge one, and I averted my eyes quickly enough that I got only a part of it (it was some kind of article with a big spoilery heading, in the manner of "Darth Vader Reveals He's Luke's Father, And Yeah, Luke Totally Eye-fucked His Sister, Gross!") but I am still cranky! I've gone cold turkey on spoilers. I know a few speculations, and I deliberately avoided seeking out confirmation for those. Haven't gone to any message boards other than here in yonks, either. And my fucking *phone* spoils me? I mean, just because I have googled "Arrow CW" about three dozen times in the last month or so does not mean I want to know *everything* about the show! Silly algorithms!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Beau and I started watching "Arrow" and I am really digging it. We started at the beginning and I'm on ep 13. I have been skimming over the posts this season, so I am unaware.

Can I just say that I have never seen so many Black people on tv. There are so many supporting characters who are African American on this show. I don't think I have seen this many Black people on a tv show since "Roots."
