I guess it can be seen as just not thinking about it, but I want to see her be forced to think about it. Especially when she is faced with decisions like getting rid of the "wrong" Alec.

I've always had the impression that the "royals" were a specific type of Wesen that we haven't seen the true form of.
It does seem as though royal blood is meant to be more than just a snobbish prestige thing.

Yes and her vet med knowledge is relevant and useful surprisingly often. The way she dives into research is amusing, too.
