I watched Mindgames (while recording Person of Interest and Chicago Fire - I sincerely hope somthing gets adjusted out of there soon). I enjoyed it more than I expected to - Steve Zahn's very manic, but as the character's literally bipolar it's less annoying than it might have been. And after making you think you know pretty much what's going on for almost the whole episode, threw in a bit of twistiness in the last 5 minutes. I'll keep watching.
eta Christian Slater has managed to tone his Nicholson back to almost not there, so also that's another worry addressed.

I despised the last 5 minutes. Like a whole lot. I am not sure why i have such a negative reaction to it, but it makes me not want to see any more eps of the show. I was moderately enjoying it up until then. But the end took all of the wind out of my sails.
It was definitely not expected. I'm interested to see where they're going with it - I hope not making Slater's character into the
selfish, manipulative asshole
that the scene would seem to imply.

Felicity! Oh, Muffin. I'm glad that her angst was not over romantic jealousy but because she was doubting her professional worth. Diggle = THE BEST EVER. I enjoyed seeing everyone out in the field.

Also, I think I totally ship Felicity and Sara now.
Yeah, I love the way they dealt with the potential tension between Sara and Felicity. More of Sara training Felicity, s'il vous plait!
And the show suddenly remembered that Sara and Sin used to have a relationship! Um.

I hope Felicity and Sara continue to bond. I liked Sara giving her useful pointers about punching.
Also, I'm assuming Tumblr collapsed under the weight of Ollie telling Felicity she'll always be his girl. (I am a Tumbler naif -- even though I apparently signed up for one -- and wouldn't even know where to look for Arrow stuff, although I assume it wouldn't be difficult. I think I'll just eagerly await Jenny Crusie's post tomorrow.)
Not quite. Some shippers, who have been stewing in bitterness for 3 weeks over Oliver/Sara, are all indignant and stuff, thinking that comment came over as patronizing and that Oliver petted her like a little girl. Whereas I am all "Felicity was high as a kite on oxy and adorable as fuck. Your comment is invalid."
I ship Oliver/Felicity pretty hard, but I'ma stay the hell away from the Arrow shipperdom because a lot of those folks are scaaaaaary.
Is there a fandom that =doesn't= have some scary shippers?
