Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I would consider the Treks as reboots. Hawaii 5-0.

I'm going to entirely ignore comic book superheroes.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

So I guess it's worth throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks, because it's just as likely to succeed as any other random show. But still, Heroes?

Ironside is a success? Sight. Awful, awful show from the half an episode I watched before turning it off as an alternative to throwing something at the screen. And the original Ironside was not bad.

No, sorry if I wasn't clear, but Ironside was in my list of reboots that failed.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Oh god, Facebook would collapse under the weight of the resulting memes, wouldn't it? I mean, really. The Sherlock memes would be but a faint, charming memory.

You're not wrong.

Surprisingly, I don't want a Pushing Daisies resurrection as desperately anymore. I want Bryan Fuller & crew to have at least a 7 season run on Hannibal, instead.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I saw my first ep of Hannibal last week (the one with Lance Henriksen). I'm really not sure how else to put it, but it was just gorgeous. A visual delight. I'll need to bump it up my Quickflix list.

Hannibal is amazing, and I definitely want it to have a good, long run, but I would also love a Pushing Daisy's and/or Wonderfalls movie or TV movie.

Ah. I feared Ironside was succeeding financially. I knew better than to think you'd like it.
