Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I can't imagine Zachary Quinto and Hayden Panettiere would be keen to come back. They've got other stuff going on with their career. The rest of the cast, maybe. I quit watching in the middle of season 2 so I have no idea what went down at the end.
On a more pleasant news, Arrow got renewed for season 3! Not that there was any doubt, but it was nice to hear. I also hear Supernatural got renewed again, like, that show is going to be on air until Sam and Dean are in nursing home, isn't it?
Huh. I thought 24 coming back was peculiar, I don't even know what to call Heroes. Huh.
I did watch to the end, but could not tell you what went down at the end. FWTW.
Yeah, Arrow, Supernatural, Vampire Diaries, The Originals and Reign all got renewed for next year.
Heroes, seriously?
I would give eye teeth to have a 13-episode wrap-up miniseries for Sarah Connor Chronicles instead.
t heavy sigh
GodDAMNIT. I'm so pissed they're rebooting the Terminator series, and you know it'll be all about how heroic John Connor is.

THIS. The series finale ended on such an intriguing note. I really wanted to know how the writer were going to handle that.
Good luck getting the entire cast back for
Sarah Connor
--harder than for Heroes, even. (Altho the Heroes reboot will be all-new cast & characters.)
Here's better news: Farscape movie in the works! It's based on the comics post-PW, which I have not read. Also, I assume this is a TV movie.
With more and more popular shows getting a reboot/movie/whatever, doesn't it seem like it's only a matter of time before Firefly gets some kind of re-something?
Oh god, Facebook would collapse under the weight of the resulting memes, wouldn't it? I mean, really. The Sherlock memes would be but a faint, charming memory.
A new Farscape movie really only works for me if Ben and Claudia and Ricky Manning are involved. Well, okay, and they need Lani Tupu to voice Pilot.
But Jonathan Hardy is dead, so what would they do for Rygel?
I don't want Farscape: the Next Generation. I want the continuing adventures of John and Aeryn and their pals.
Aside from BSG, what TV reboots have been that successful? Ironside, Bionic Woman, Knight Rider, Sarah Conner (not quite a reboot and a great show, but not really a success)...I guess the new Dallas is still going.
