I wanna die in bed surrounded by fat grandchildren, but guess that's off the menu.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

That is simultaneously awesome and makes me wonder if his hearing needs to be checked.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Tom and Ryan just made me laugh like a loon!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

An interesting article that I agree with:

The Captain Kirk Problem: How Doctor Who Betrayed Matt Smith

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Pretty good article. I think that they've also broken their own rules about changing history way too often.

brillig

The arrogance is why I preferred Nine (we may have to revisit numbering) over Ten. Nine was well aware of his limitations and what horrors his interference could wreak. Ten, I didn't get that so much.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I agree with the article. Except the use of the word "betrayal" bugs me a bit. Good and even great actors often end up in badly written shows. "Betrayal" seems a bit strong for that.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Grimm:

I hope Hank's PT Zuri turns out to be a Wesen love interest for him.

I posted on IO9:

I hope she's not a Koschi, but agree she should be Wesen.

I want them to get involved, and she scared he will figure out she's Wesen. I imagine it really hard to keep from full Volga (Wolga?) forever. A some point you have to deal with a (really!) mixed marriage, as it were.

I want to see her Volga out, and Hank say "Yeah. You're Wesen. Nick told me." And kisses her anyway. It would show how much he's been broadened by the experiences with Good and bad Wesen.

I hope her form is beautiful, similar to Rosalee.

And now I'm wondering if some Furry cosplayers aren't really cosplaying.

OK, since just got a new Doctor, here is a hypothetical about the NEXT Doctor if you feel like answering it.

If you could cast anyone you want as the Doctor, but within the shows budget, who you pick? Within show's budget means no Idris Elba, no Judy Dench, only people whose market price matches those they have already cast. But any race and gender. Only if you feel so inclined

Punishingly Intricate

ooh, the first person I thought of was Olivia Coleman (although I couldn't remember her name) who was in Broadchurch w/ David Tennant, amongst other things. I think she'd be strong and, also, hilarious!
