Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Malcolm! Called it.

I didn't expect him to come back, but I wasn't surprised, if that makes sense.

Felicity continues to be the best reason to watch the show, but I wish she wouldn't get herself into dangerous situations that she can't get out of.

Yeah, the damsel in distress thing is getting a little old, especially contrasted with Shado and Sarah.

The preview for the next episode made me squee in delight. Barry Allen WHAT!!! (And the text over the preview -- "Everything changes...in a FLASH" -- Tim said, "Do they think they're sneaky, or clever?")

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The way it was filmed was very open ended. I figured he had a back up plan of someone coming to rescue him if he was wounded.

Did you know it's a spin off?

They're spinning off the Flash into his own show? Intriguing.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Is Flash supposed to be that young? He looks like a Jonas brother.

Yup.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I feel I would have absolutely nothing to talk to with Felicity. I also feel that way with Ollie, but that is right there in the text, so fine. But Felicity is what I was--a female IT prodigy. And I would have gone nowhere near her. All see when I look at her are doe eyes at Oliver. And then I see nothing, because my eyes are closed because yawning.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

We celebrated the Doctor's 50th birthday at work today. This is his birthday cake.

And this was our birthday present.

(Also, yes, it's real! It was the first one used on set when Matt Smith took over the role.)
