I'm always impressed at the personal hygiene regimens maintained in Walking Dead and other apocalyptic shows.
Yeah, one would think the clothing on Revolution would look a little more home-spun, for instance.
Buffy ,'Lessons'
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Lena never got enough credit for being a savvy businesswoman managing her career.
Seriously. Kathy was talented, and she was likely to get some chances anyway (the director was going to give her a nice part in Zelda's next film), but having Don Lockwood jump into her car that night definitely jumpstarted her career. She didn't seem to have to do much herself besides sing and dance (quite nicely: Debbie Reynolds had some serious legs).
I don't know what makes me happier about Arrow: the unsurprising return of Hotass Daddy Merlyn, or the preview for the next episode OH MY GOD BARRY ALLEN!!!
Also, it's about time Count Eurotrash got killed. I mean, I'm in favor of Ollie's no-killing rule in general, but seriously, the dude was annoying.
I enjoyed the Count's OTT villainy, myself, but I'm interested to see what kind of fallout there might be from the kill decision.
Poor Thea, though she can console herself that Tommy was made of awesome, right?

BBCA is airing The Day of the Doctor live. Does anyone have any clues if they will be inserting commercials?

I'll ask around.
From the channel guys:
"The global simulcast at 2:50pm ET on BBC America will be a true simulcast without ad breaks, all over the world and in the U.S.
It will be encored on BBC America at 7pm ET with exclusive inside look interviews with Matt Smith & David Tennant in the commercial breaks."
Cool, thanks!
Arrow:
Seth Gabel! I wish they hadn't killed him off. He was a great recurring villian.
Moira, willing to risk the death penalty over the affair seemed lame, unless she was worried the DA would actually reveal the paternity thing?
Malcolm! Called it. Felicity continues to be the best reason to watch the show, but I wish she wouldn't get herself into dangerous situations that she can't get out of. I'd love it if Oliver taught her some defense moves.
