I would love to see Nine as the War Doctor. It would explain so much of his angst. But the point about looking at the ears is valid. And I miss Tom Baker's manic grin. Where can I find the old eps? Are they on Netflix? Or somewhere? There are lot of the McCoy eps I'd like to see again, too.

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Netflix definitely has a lot of classic Who. Shit, I just saw a Tumblr post that had links to stuff for all the doctors, but...tumblr speed...
This is cute: Matthew Yglesias just quoted Battlestar Galactica at the end of a column on fiscal policy.
He lost me by approvingly quoting Larry Summers, conveniently ignoring the fact that he's part of the reason we're in this mess.
Sorry, I know, not a politics thread.
I am really enjoying Colin being a bad guy. I figured he was once the two guys changed Lexi's mind in the bar(n). It seemed so convenient. He's positively glowing this episode.
Not only the bad guy but at minimum the Season's big bad. Maybe the big bad for the whole show.
I wonder what the show's arc is supposed to be through future seasons. Not enough to ask, though...
I'm rewatching Blake's 7, and it's fascinating as it comes together into what I hadn't remembered I remembered. Dana and Tarrant just showed up, and OH. That looks a lot more familiar, only twenty eight episodes in...
I wonder what the show's arc is supposed to be through future seasons.
I always wondered how they planned to sustain it long term. My guess: this is pretty much written from season to season.
I love Colin as the Big Bad. And even more as a nuanced Big Bad. He's doing this because he's trying to get his Audrey/Sarah/Lexi back. I think that he was saying that the woman who decided to become Audrey/Sarah/Lexi was the one he wanted. But, would it not occur to him that a woman who would make that kind of sacrifice in order to help the Troubled would not like him giving people Troubles to get her back?

Shit, Orlando Jones is NUCLEAR.
