I don't fancy spending the next month trying to get librarian out of the carpet.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Ann, that's a ferret.

OUAT -- Am I the only one that thinks they're starting to turn into "character of the week"? We've already had one-offs (which, I admit, may ultimately advance the plot) featuring Tinkerbell and Ariel.

I'm also surprised that Ariel fell so quickly for Regina's end-of-episode offer, especially after how Regina treated her last time ("Go away, little mermaid."). There's a catch. Where Regina and Rumplestiltskin are involved, there's always a catch.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Nope. Not just you.

Plus...do they own their souls to Disney, or what?

I really did not enjoy this episode at all.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Plus...do they own their souls to Disney, or what?

ABC produces it, ABC is owned by Disney, so... yeah.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Hasn't it always been? I can't figure out why I'm still watching.

There is a famous story, probably apocryphal. A successful pulp writer decided to take a creative writing class taught by a successful writer of "literary" fiction. The first assignment was returned with the following comment scrawled on it. "This is garbage. Absolute garbage. So why do I keep turning the pages?"

Ah.

Well there you have it.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

"This is garbage. Absolute garbage. So why do I keep turning the pages?"

This is what I aspire to write.

Was I just entranced by the concept in the beginning, or did it actually used to be good?

I loved Red and the Dwarves and Doc Hopper.

The "MY son! No, MYYYY Son" back and forth got sort of tedious, but I liked the ancillary characters.
