Spike: Or maybe Captain Forehead was feeling a little less special. Didn't like me crashing his exclusive club, another vampire with a soul in the world. Angel: You're not in the world, Casper.

'Just Rewards (2)'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

They really do seem to have a thing for tall, skinny, white guys.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I wonder why the people who initially thought Capaldi thought Capaldi. Has he come up on previous lists?

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I still wish he hadn't been white. I mean, c'mon.

I would *love* an Indian Doctor.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I am actually disappointed that Jason Statham was not named. I know it is ridiculous but it was so ridiculous that I started imagining it with details. If I had a lick of creative talent (and time), I'd start writing fan fiction about it.

Due to selective parsing and possibly side effects of, you know, medication, Le Nub is now starting writing Time Lord Statham fic. Y'all can thank me later.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Not familiar with Peter Capaldi, but willing to give him a shot.

As for Patterson Joseph, he's got another gig- Law and Order UK.(I didn't realize they started it up again until a friend tipped me off to BBC America starting to air new eps this week)

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I would *love* an Indian Doctor.

Joanna Lumley would have been the perfect choice to please us both, then.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Malcolm Tucker as the new Doctor! I'm hoping Capaldi would keep his Scottish accent. For those who haven't watched Thick of It / In the Loop, here's a gloriously profanity-filled reminder: [link]

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Well, he's been a couple of Who-verse shows, so he's a known quantity to the production. I thought he was good in both the Pompii adventure and CoM.

I'm not sure about keeping the Scot accent though. It's pretty hard to understand a Scot when he's not making an effort to be understood by the rest of us.
