'Safe'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They couldn't find a British kid for that role? That accent hurts.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Well, poisoned doesn't mean dead and "I did what you asked" is super ambiguous.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay, I'm now even happier I let Teppy convince me to watch Arrow.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

Teen Wolf -- I am more of a casual user, so I need to ask those of you who pay more attention than I do: what does it mean that Scott's eyes are starting to glow red?

Edit - I mean, obviously I know that he's evincing alpha-like tendencies, what with acquiring Isaac into his pack and all, but I don't think all the alphas in the alpha pack glow red, do they?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Yeah, all the alphas we've seen have red eyes. I'm kind of surprised that just Isaac looking up to him would be enough to start making Scott an alpha, though once Boyd believed Derek was dead and started following his lead too it would make more sense.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

We asked the writer of Sharknado some very serious questions

"Honestly, I don’t understand why people are so perplexed by this concept. The logic is undeniable."

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Bwahahaha!

Ah, well, now we’re into the larger philosophical issues of the film. What does it say about humans that when poor displaced sharks are ravaged by nature’s uncaring fury we try to kill them with chainsaws? I think we need to take a good long look in the mirror over that one.

I think they broached Alpha Scott (pack of humans or pack of one) in at least season 2--I guess it's biologically reflected now.
