I want to torture you. I used to love it, and it's been a long time. I mean, the last time I tortured someone, they didn't even have chainsaws.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

DW4x06 I was half-expecting for the Hath and humans to be transformed somehow by the terraforming gases, since they were there at ground zero. Now that I think about it, I was expecting a quasi re-enactment of The Dark Crystal ending, without the split souls thingy.

Except that would mean that the Doctor and Rose and Martha would've been changed.

Ah well.

Was there a second Dr. Who after the OOG that I missed on SciFi? Or are you talking about a future episode I will see soon?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

DW4x06 was broadcast on the BBC in the UK yesterday. the US airings are two-three weeks behind, I think.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Hey, Eureka marathon on Sunday!

I'm watching it now AIFG! I smiled so big when I saw them advertizing dedicating Mother's Day to S.A.R.A.H. Heh.

I am saddened that they had to injure Gaeta to arrive at the plan.

Poor Gaeta. He just can't win. He probably won't even be the 5th cylon, so his destiny is just to become more bitter and more bitter until he implodes on himself.

Hi folks! Am busy watching The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and so far am enjoying it quite a lot.

I loved it. There was so much potential for it to be crap, but I found myself really looking forward to the show each week.

all good reasons to watch, but i fell for another character who shows up in ep 5. in fact, i wouldn't mind if they renamed the show after him because he's actually a hell of a lot more interesting for me than Sarah is.

Word to the bazillionth power. This actress is good. I like her. She is "a" Sarah Connor for me. Just not the One True SC. I definitely have a One True Derek though.

Just watched this past week's Reaper. Did anyone else notice? The guy playing the storage room owner was Jeff Kober, aka Rack on Buffy.

Art Crawl!!!

Oh yeah, I liked his character too. (And he was on Supernatural last season.)

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

DW 4.06: Wow, that was an amazingly incoherent episode. I didn't recognize the writer's name (Stephen Greenhorn); anyone know if he's done any other episodes? I was unimpressed. But I liked Jenny quite a bit, and was glad (if supremely unsurprised) to see that she survived after all.

Interesting to read people's theories a few pages back about how the Doctor and Donna keep finding themselves deified and mythologized this season. What with the bit this episode with the Doctor inserting himself into the new planet's mythology, I'm starting to think there must be some point to all that.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

That's who that was! I knew I knew him from somewhere, but my brain wouldn't place him.

ETA: IMDB says he was also in "Helpless". Was he the psychotic vamp in that episode?
