We have to see the chimp playing hockey! That's hilarious! The ice is so slippery, and, and monkeys are all irrational. We have to see this!

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Did Tom Tom pay off in any further way? That seemed to be a lot of work for a pretty obscured punchline.

I thought the joke was cute, and I got it when he said his name, but clearly it went over some people's heads. It was pretty random and pointless, though.

And now, I don't get it at all.

TomTom is a popular GPS.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

OK, I have finally seen the first Orphan Black. I would be marathoning the rest if I didn't have GoT and Mad Men to watch tonight. Good stuff.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Yeah it is. It does not catch its breath.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Wow, that's a long way to go for a joke (re: Tom Tom). Fun episode, though. I think I might love Jenny the best.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Although when she really should have been shrieking at them, when the house fills with weird stuff right after they do a strange ritual with her, does she call them?

In fairness, I presume she was about to call someone when she dropped her phone into the bottomless pit in the living room.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Jenny is super awesome. Hooray!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I think I might love Jenny the best.

Yeah, I love Jenny. Love her kick-ass ass-kicking outfit.

Now I wanna see Strax, Vastra and Jenny hang out with Captain Jack. Just to see Jack hitting on Strax.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm not going to lie--I still think of Doctor Who every time I see her: [link]

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Now I wanna see Strax, Vastra and Jenny hang out with Captain Jack. Just to see Jack hitting on Strax.

Oh. My. God.

To be filed under things I never knew I needed.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Strax might surprise us, it is Captain Jack, after all.

It could be a sweet romance, really. Jack fails in his mission, Strax caps him, Jack wakes up and tackles him... their eyes meet... fade to black...
