A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
But he also remembers the universe without Peter, right? Though I guess he could just choose not to, as Olivia more or less did. So he's functionally the same Walter, but not exactly, to my mind.
Oh, it's certainly more complex than my statement above. Nothing undid season 4, but the essence of who Walter, Olivia, and Peter were in seasons 1-3 and the relationships they had were once again a part of them for the end of the series. That is what I was cheering.
Syfy has canceled Alphas. I'm disappointed; I really loved the second season.
Oh man, what a depressing series ending that becomes now.
I just watched the last 2 episodes. Damn. That ending with Gary and that song... oh, that just hurt.
Deleted scene from Being Human.
I don't know if I just accumulated enough exposition to get the world finally, or if this episode was better, but I am pretty into Continuum as of this week. There is still a bunch of stuff about the premise that I don't understand, but I don't mind so much.
Being Human got pretty weird with the ghost stuff. I don't know.
Dyson getting to be other than staid and stoic, yay! And Kenzi kicking ass! Woo, fun!
I thought the episode of Lost Girl was amazingly bad. Worse than the season opener, even.
Kenzi--I still love, Hale I
miss,
and the Dyson actor I like more than Dyson. Trick is also cool, and I think I can take or leave (mostly leave) the rest--I'm glad to see the back of Vex for a while, the Morrigan is an inconsistent caricature, Tamsin is okay...she could turn out to be fun, actually, and Bo is still completely perplexing when it comes to the attention, love, and loyalty she inspires. And Lauren almost too boring to mention.
How old were they being regressed to, do you think? Too young to be put over your lap and spanked? It seemed a weird mix of five and post-puberty. I also didn't know that the Fae aged into their powers--so do they all seem human until they blossom?
It started weakly, tho. I hate the device of "Hey, you remember all those encounters we had just a moment ago for which this show could never afford the FX? Weren't those just wild?" Yes, kids. Totes wild.
