Kaylee: H-how did you... g-get on...? Early: Strains the mind a bit, don't it? You think you're all alone. Maybe I come down the chimney, Kaylee. Bring presents to the good girls and boys.

'Objects In Space'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I found it a remarkably clumsy tribute. Fine--the forced pregnancy fits with the heightened sexuality of the series, but murderous transexual makes my eyes roll, and never mind the individually tailored prison suits--more pointedly so than my previous front runner: Folsom Prison Blues, since they weren't just fitted, but styled differently from prisoner to prisoner, and well--why not red wedges once you've gone that far?

The floor scrubbing with the toothbrush was simple and organic by comparison.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

NBC's JRM Dracula series has cast their Mina. She played Huntress in Arrow

I thought the Huntress actress was very pretty but also very flat. Not that I was looking forward to watching JRM getting Stokered.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I found it a remarkably clumsy tribute.

Yeah not that this show isn't clumsy a lot. But this was worse than average. I don't really know why I watch - except that in spite of bitching a lot about it I enjoy it.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I still can't believe that is how they wanted to open a season I was expecting a little better.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So there's a backdoor pilot for The Originals, spinning off from The Vampire Diaries.

Life isn't fair.

Why couldn't we have a Grumpy Old Men or The Ones With Vaginas spinoff of Supernatural?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Well, first you'd have to go back in time and stop the show from killing off everyone that fits either description...
