"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Between Peter and Walter in this episode, I'm very worried about a no good very bad ending for the show.

I'm pretty confident that Wyman is a romantic at heart. He just wants to make sure we weep with gratitude when they actually do reach a good place.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Damn. We'll never know what happens when they run out of beer.

Well, at least I won't have to watch Dichen Lachman try to look interested in that Navy SEAL anymore.

Pity: there's some potential there, but they really didn't seem to know what to do with it.

Last Resort: I think this was actually my favorite new show of the season, and I'm sorry to see it go. The cast was great, and I think they would have found their footing storyline wise soon enough.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Haven: Did Nathan sleep with her in the past? Is the implication he's the Colorado Kid's father? I couldn't tell if that was a "fade to black" or just a suggestion-free scene transition.

Fringe: Peter is giving up his humanity, and apparently now his hair, Walter gave up pieces of his brain--are we to consider that Olivia has given up Etta? Her childhood? What is her loss? And when's the last time they mentioned cortexiphan?

This was exactly my thought when Nathan got that arrested look on his face when Audrey mentioned that Sarah had a son.

Interesting.

It was nice to see Chief Warnos again. The entire series, I've been waiting for someone to drag that cooler out from some shed somewhere and reconstitute him.

I loved him on DaVinci's Inquest and Republic of Doyle. His appearances in the latter left me to think he had suffered a stroke of some sort, but I can't find any news to that effect. He looked a little rough in the most recent Haven, but at least he seemed healthy.

Olivia definitely lost her childhood to cortexiphan. I think Etta is considered a loss for all of them. I'm upset that neither Olivia's sister or her niece have been mentioned in this future. I want to know what happened to them. Or do we already know and I missed it?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Olivia has lost so many things, but in terms of what she's given up? Early in the series (maybe even the pilot) she said she just wanted things to go back to normal (and not have to know about ZFT and the fringe events). I guess she gave up the concept of normal. Although I'm not certain she's completely given it up. The same idea has been addressed in her insecurities about starting a relationship with Peter and about having children. She's not optimistic, but she still wants it.

I think with Olivia it's more about what she's taken on than what she's given up. Ever since she accepted the job with Fringe division she has taken on the responsibility for... everything. She may not always think she'll succeed, but she as sure as hell will do her best.

Cortexiphan was last mentioned at the end of last season. Olivia being all dosed up was pretty key to a lot of the plot points.

I don't think we know anything. Nina would probably be the one to share that info.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Did her sister exist in the world without Peter timeline? I thought she didn't.
