I can't believe no one has posted about the completely LOL moment from tonight's DW. are you my mummy? ha!!!
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
When was that, tiggy? I don't recall it.
it was the scene where the UNIT guy was explaining the gun to the Doctor and the Doctor put on the gas mask. i had to rewind to be sure i heard it correctly. hilarious.
Oh, that's fucking wrong! I'll have to rewatch.
That was hilarious, tiggy.
Oh, that's fucking wrong!
If that was wrong, I don't want to be right.
you know, every year there are major cast changes i go into the season incredibly wary and every time i'm really pleasantly surprised. i suppose i need to stop being wary.
which is my way of saying, i'm really enjoying Donna this season.
I missed that too, tiggy, thanks for pointing it out! But then, I was going to rewatch both episodes together anyway.
I thought it was a good and enjoyable double bill, though nothing extraordinary (cf. "Human Nature" etc.). Nice bit of tension with Donna in the Sontaran ship. Did anyone else catch the brief flash of Rose shouting "Doctor" on the Tardis screen when Donna was changing the channel? I like the way they're building this one up, nice and slowly .
Uh oh. I went and read the white font! Curse you, sleep-addled brain!
Not that it probably gives away all that much, but I have no-one to blame but myself.
Have I mentioned lately how much CKR rocks as Leoben?
So, BSG was pretty slow, but I mostly didn't mind. I actually really like the pace of this season so far.
Craxy!Starbuck is getting a bit tiresome. Serene!Baltar is increasingly creeptastic. I hated the relationship between him and Tori when it started, but I'm warming to it more and more. The power dynamic is just really interesting there.
I loved Tyrol (can't call him the Chief anymore! waaah!) last week - this week seemed a little off. Too much bug-eyed angst, not enough anything else.
And - no Adama, no Roslin, no Six. I wonder what they're saving the $$ for?
In the last episode, the fleet finds earth just in time to watch the Vogons demolish it to build their interstellar highway?
