The Walking Dead: Merle!!!1!
'The Killer In Me'
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Stupid long post got et.
Sum:
STABBY PROSTHETIC MERLE ARM! WOO!
Andrea: Think with your brain, not your hoo-ha. Yes, a safe community is immensely appealing. But Governor dude sends up so many I AM BATSHIT CRAZY red flags that his supervillian name should be The Scarlet Semaphore.
M'shonne(sp?): Please bitch-slap some sense into ItchyPants McGee there. Also, the actress that plays M'shonne, I quite like so far.
Michonne.
my view is so clouded by the comics at this point, i was completely on edge this entire episode.
Strix,
I agree with you.
They have changed events with the governor enough from the graphic novels that I wonder where they are going.
I have some predictions (am not spoiled for the tv series). I hope I am wrong.
Yeah, I only just finished Volume 6, but I'm curious where they're going with the Governor and Woodbury and how much they plan to deviate from the comic. I did like the way they introduced him, though. It was to the point where I thought maybe they'd completely changed his character or something and made him a good guy.
My ex called me tonight specifically to tell me that Michonne made him think of me, because he thought I would totally have done that pack-animal thing with the zombies. I was quite flattered.
me too, P-C! it's why i was so on edge. thy changed so much i didn't now WHAT to expect!
:AmNotBuyingCompemdiumIWillRemainPure:
It's SO hard not too, though!
And New Pleasantville - aside from the "Oh, I find floating zombies heads quite relaxing, like beta fish" murdery leader - has a definite rapeville vibe coming off quite a few of the "soldiers" to me.
I mean, we saw Michonne being asked if she wanted to be a soldier on the preview, but other than that...I didn't see women on the wall. And all the women I saw were wearing dresses.
I dunno.
It's SO hard not too, though!
You should borrow it from your neighbor, like me!
But see, I'm trying to REMAIN PURE.
Something which hasn't happened to me a lot, so support me, dammit!
(But I am so tempted...)
