Wash: Little River just gets more colorful by the moment. What'll she do next? Zoe: Either blow us all up or rub soup in our hair. It's a toss-up. Wash: I hope she does the soup thing. It's always a hoot, and we don't all die from it.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

:AmNotBuyingCompemdiumIWillRemainPure:

It's SO hard not too, though!

And New Pleasantville - aside from the "Oh, I find floating zombies heads quite relaxing, like beta fish" murdery leader - has a definite rapeville vibe coming off quite a few of the "soldiers" to me.

I mean, we saw Michonne being asked if she wanted to be a soldier on the preview, but other than that...I didn't see women on the wall. And all the women I saw were wearing dresses.

I dunno.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

It's SO hard not too, though!

You should borrow it from your neighbor, like me!

But see, I'm trying to REMAIN PURE.

Something which hasn't happened to me a lot, so support me, dammit!

(But I am so tempted...)

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Strix, I'm your pure companion (like a sober companion, only in regard to the comic books). One day at a time.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So you guys heard that a couple years ago Colton Haynes went as Kanye for Halloween, full blackface? And there was a bit of retroactive fuss, but mostly the bits of TW fandom I see like to pretend it's all love and cuddles.

This year? He dressed as Gandhi, I hear.

Okay, this [link] freaked me out until I could work out the bulk of what was going on (or not).

People, stop fucking with me.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

You know, I'm all about the suspension of disbelief, but who doesn't notice a guard in a ski mask carrying a bow and a quiver of arrows? it's a riot and everything, but damn.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I'm just bereft because of the extreme lack of shirtlessness.

However, the addition of John Barrowman makes me so happy. That man is, like, made-in-a-laboratory pretty. Guh.

And I love blonde IT woman.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

You know, I'm all about the suspension of disbelief, but who doesn't notice a guard in a ski mask carrying a bow and a quiver of arrows? it's a riot and everything, but damn.

No kidding.

Another "meh" episode for me. Laurel's "Oh my God, Guardian Angel" in the beginning and "Oh my God, he saved my life and got an innocent man freed, but he is totally evil" at the end were both some serious mood swings.

Also, WTF happened to her combat skills? She went from beating up professional body guards to stereotypical female TV victim.

So Ollie's got a voice disguiser, but he only bothers around Laurel. Um, okay.

And Ollie, maybe you might want to hide your Hoodie Justice somewhere that's not in direct view of a security camera.

I'm also failing to grasp why Evil Mom would embezzle $2.6 million to dredge the ship she had sabotaged from the bottom of the ocean and then park it in a warehouse.

IT girl was fun.

Walter seems pretty clearly not evil at this point. (And I'm suddenly expecting him to die by the end of the season.)

So I'm guessing Digg will pull the classic move of getting the Hoodie of Justice from the Arrow Cave and go beat up some thugs while Ollie's in jail to give him an alibi.

Also, Deathstroke sighting in the preview. Hopefully he's less disappointing than Deadshot.
