Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

le nubian: I think it is the less Emma and the fact that we're finally past the whole storyline of her seeing evidence of the fairytale world every week and not believing it. I also like Charming a lot better this season, especially when he is hanging out with Henry. Plus the lack of Charming and Snow's will they or won't they storyline.

Ann, that's a ferret.

That may be it. Hubs got hooked on this one about a week before the new season started. So all I saw of the first season was the hour-long recap before this season's premiere. Looked like an interesting premise, but it also looks like the writers don't know what to do now after that premise is resolved.

Like in this last episode. Snow, Emma, Mulan all disappear for no apparent reason. And we suddenly bring in the cast of Peter Pan, again for no apparent reason.

Now, if we get a hot, steamy make-out scene between Charming and Hook....

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Is this where The Walking Dead convos would be?

Anyone else watching?

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I am. Much less irritating than last season, so far.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

He has an accent. He MUST be evil. Or possibly a model.

He's yummy! But, I thought the mother was talking to him in a scene where she's evil. Shows how close I'm (not) watching.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

What gets me about TWD is that they are FLYING through the text now. I kind of wish they went at this pace in the first two seasons and slowed down a bit this season.

I think the mother *is* evil -- I thought that at the end of the first episode (or the second? or both?) she had a scene to that effect (talking about the yacht being rigged to capsize or something).

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Yes. The mother is definitely evil. She hired the kidnappers in the first episode to torture Ollie and find out what he knows and has admitted to knowing the yacht was sabotaged (though not necessarily having it done). The question is if she has had any evil scenes with her husband, which I don't think she has, unless he's the mysterious person off-screen.
