I'm watching too.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
He has an accent. He MUST be evil. Or possibly a model.
He's yummy! But, I thought the mother was talking to him in a scene where she's evil. Shows how close I'm (not) watching.
What gets me about TWD is that they are FLYING through the text now. I kind of wish they went at this pace in the first two seasons and slowed down a bit this season.

I think the mother *is* evil -- I thought that at the end of the first episode (or the second? or both?) she had a scene to that effect (talking about the yacht being rigged to capsize or something).

Yes. The mother is definitely evil. She hired the kidnappers in the first episode to torture Ollie and find out what he knows and has admitted to knowing the yacht was sabotaged (though not necessarily having it done). The question is if she has had any evil scenes with her husband, which I don't think she has, unless he's the mysterious person off-screen.
What's a reasonable age difference between Elena and April? If Elena is a senior now and she babysat April?
Yep, the last ep pretty much made up for last season. I was all "WHOA RICK! WHOA CAROL!"
Although --fucking Carl! STOP WANDERING OFF. Yes, you can shoot now, but you're still an idiot sometimes. (I really kind of hope he gets eaten. Mean, but true.)
And Lori just wants to Talk About Her Feelings. Lady, zombie apocalypse = couples therapy not a huge issue. And I'm sorry, but I don't think I'd give mouth to mouth to an unbreathing person who got bit by a zombie. Hello, lip chomp hazard!
There is much less talking. It's good. When you are dealing with insane people who are trying to kill you, there is no talking.
I agree! And that scene with Rick and the happy-killer con guy...I was all yelling, "Hell YEAH, Rick!"
Next week looks fun, too. I'm jazzed about TWD again.
