Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm going to watch Revolution on demand if it is available, but otherwise that DVR time slot belongs to Castle and Hawaii 5-0.

Besides, how big is Randall's empire, anyway? Couldn't you just, like, walk a couple days and be quit of it?

Monroe's Republic. I don't think we know how big it is, but I'd guess more than a couple day's walk across. Everyone overnight end on their various treks in the pilot and no one has left his territory yet. But it seems unlikely that is would span the continent. Otoh, leaving might just get you a different petty dictator to deal with.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Where was his voice?

(I almost played that during a conference call)

Near the beginning, but I didn't check the time code.

According to IMDB, he's got a part on it, but he's not listed on the regular cast. And Lexa Doig gets to be a doctor again, what fun for her.

Art Crawl!!!

So it's more a spin-off than a copy?

That's kind of cool.

Only if the characters are less Darwin-award-winningly stupid than the original set.

I still have fond memories of the episode where they protected themselves from monsters coming out through the anomaly by piling a stack of empty cardboard boxes around it. Fun times, fun times.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

So far I like Revolution more than Terra Nova but not quite as much as the first season of Lost. Mainly the acting isn't quite good enough to make me care what happens to these characters yet. But I like the story, I like the setting, and I like the look and feel.
