Simon: I'm trying to put this as delicately as I can... How do I know you won't kill me in my sleep? Mal: You don't know me, son. So let me explain this to you once: If I ever kill you, you'll be awake, you'll be facing me, and you'll be armed.

Lost Girl Finale: So Kenzie is now Bo's twin? Dark Bo? A twin succubus? Just looks like Bo? Who knows. Makes as little sense as anything in this series. Also, a gut wound gets healed by cauterization? No need for antibiotics, strict bed rest, or feeding via IV because you can't handle food in your gut? And poisoning the person the Garuda is possessing kills the Garuda? Added bonus: healing that person does not heal the Garuda.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

So, was that the worst fucking set of fight scenes I have ever fucking seen. Do you think they ran out of $$? I am still so mad at the fight scenes against the Garuda. It is like you could hear them counting between strikes.

Heh. Don't really notice fight scenes on that level. (And whatever your response to that ita !'s is probably double.) However even I noticed that the Garuda had the magic power of making its opponent wait for it to finish boasting before trying to hit back.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I mean wtf was that?

I thought it was serious weak sauce that there were better fights in season 1 than that piece of trash that was the finale in season 2.

I almost would have rather all that shit happen off stage than what we saw. It was just awful. And then it was - everyone wait your turn to fight. Like a bad, old, kung-fu movie.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

There was a moment when I thought the Garuda had tricked them somehow and they were fighting innocent bystanders. I was a little disappointed that wasn't the case.

No idea what was going on at the end.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I could have lived without the voiceover, but I rather enjoyed that episode. I mean, you're going to have a hard time going terribly wrong with me and serious consideration of ethical dilemmas. But I liked the not-too-OTT Western-y-ness (and the discussion of the relationship between "the West" and the Civil War was nice). And that it was deeply continuous with character arcs and whatnot.

eta: Someone on Tumblr was complaining that "Susan" was a fail-y joke, and I get the logic, but I think hating on it is a bit harsh.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I also liked it. could have used a bit more Rory, but I always want more Rory.
