A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

See, I don't think that was played for comic effect at all. Creepy and eerie was the vibe I got from that. He didn't have control over those movements.
Yeah, I didn't think that was supposed to be comical, exactly.
Yes! and Yes! it is! The music and the dialogue had me cracking up. It was all very romantic. I think I even might have had Chef in my head singing "Gonna lay you down by the fi-yah and make suh-weet love"
Well, Josef did pipe up with "I'm a lover, not a fighter" fairly early in that sequence.
Tangentially, am I the only one who thinks Dohring looks MUCH creepier in the vampire appliances and makeup than the other characters on the show? The rest just look kind of exotic with the contacts and fangs, but he looks like he's rotting...
I have to say I don't get any of the Dohring fannishness at all. But I say this as a non-VM fan (in that I've never watched it, not that I watched and don't like).
i'm not sure Dohring will ever find a role that fit him as perfectly as Logan did. i enjoy watching him as Josef, but if i could have him as Logan for one episode versus five seasons of Josef on Moonlight, i'd take it.
let me clarify that i want the Logan of season one days. not the castrated version of seasons two and three.
I rewatched the latest Moonlight and liked it a bit better the second time. What I would love for them to realize though is that 'sexy vampire jumpy thing' not really so sexy in practice. If they just assumed the flying, ala Angel, it would be so much cooler.
And I agree that Dohring looks way, way cree pee-er in vamp make up than the others. I can see him being all method and begging the makeup team for more!morerot!
eta: They aren't doing so well with guest stars, sadly. Eduardo Bellerini (the plastic quack) was so loathe worthy in Romeo Must Die but in this role, he was just squinty. Too bad.
Point of clarification, please.... this Logan character of which you speak -- since Juliebird used the "VM" reference, are you referring to Veronica Mars, maybe? I never watched that show.
I just like Josef's sense of humor. He seems to have fun whilst being a vampire, rather than brooding about it.

Yep.
You guys, remember the hilarious "BSG in 8 Minutes" recap video? The same people are recapping each episode!! Frakking hilarious.
He was splendid in VM. Man, I adored Season 1 of VM beyond all power to express it. Cracking cast. Some splendid writing and awesome twisty turny things. Season 2 I also enjoyed, although not as much as Season 1. Season 3...I've not seen yet. Um.
But, man, JD did some excellent work on that show. (Yes, yes, okay, roundhouse kicks to Fay's kinks, blah blah blah - dear lord, Logan was the woobiest woobie that ever woobed.)
