Nothin'. I just wanted you to face me so she could get behind ya.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

The idea of Teen Wolf made me resistant -- you know, I have a lot of love for the original movie, which is a beautiful example of dumb comedy that works well because of the talent of the star. And, the show is on MTV, so not exactly worth checking out because let's face it, it's going to be so painfully by-the-numbers dumbly written that my teeth would ache.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They very carefully do not overlap with the movie in the least. Teen werewolf. End of similarity. They should really put that front and centre.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Teen Wolf

What's stopping me is the "Teen" part. I'm annoyed by teenage angsty drama, in RL or on TV.

Enh, nobody has to watch it. I'm highly entertained. Some pretty well crafted and really well performed characters.

Compassionately intolerant

There are other names out there!

I always assume the naming conventions for shows are based on Q ratings or something. 'Marketing says anyone named Jack is trustworthy. The focus group feels that Zoe is not like other girls and they like the outsider vibe."

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

It seems strange to complain about names and not raise the Jack issue. Always in the forefront for me.

There was also Zoe in at least three shows.

I know, right?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Is anyone watching the webseries H+ [link]

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'd been hearing about it but hadn't taken in that it was a web series, for some reason. I have time to watch it now...

Euclase and Artmetica are drawing Teen Wolf. I'm waiting for CafeDeLabeill to start. This is amusing the fuck out of me. More than Avengers, more than Sherlock. I can't work out why. I mean, I liked Avengers, don't really care for Sherlock.

(Naturally Artmetica is shipping Sterek--I do still want to put my eyes out on that topic...)

Unh, if you're not in SPN art fandom, those are some of the bigger names, and the latter two ship D/C pretty massively. Euclase ships it lightly, inasmuch as she ships anything.

It looks like the Doctor Who premier will be September 8.
