A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

I called Allison's dad having to help Scott fight his father by the end of the season, somewhere upthread.
Man, my heart breaks for Stiles. Like, Scott is broken up, but he's not *sad*. Allison does have a lot to mourn, and she also has her own actions to process, don't get me wrong. But just seeing Stiles with hope go to Stiles "how can I even feel bad that Jackson's alive?" with no hope--poor thing. Where's the "You're a hero, Stiles Stilinski!" petition? I'd like to sign it.
Poor Stiles. But how awesome was Stiles's dad?
Only Peter Hale's full alpha transformations and Jackson turning into the kanima leave the concerned parties naked.
It was the "someone certainly enjoys making an entrance" line that made me say it. Derek was running on all fours, and his clothes were not the same shape as what he was wearing after the flip and return to Tyler-face.
But how awesome was Stiles's dad?
He is amazing. I'd watch the spinoff. It wouldn't even have to have monsters in it. I'd still watch.
Remember that scene in S1 where Stiles gets him drunk to get info out of him? And then promptly feels like shit and
then
his dad mentions his mother and Sti;es stops him from reaching for another, and then his dad thanks him?
Another thing to love about TW: the parents get to be cool people in their own right.
God, Scott's mother. Jesus.
The morgue scene cracked me up with Scott yelling at his mom to zip the bodybag. Dude, Jackson's ripped off car doors and thrown you through a porcelain sink; I don't think a plastic bag is going to keep everyone safe from him.
I am now watching Season 2 of Teen Wolf, and they have new credits. Is the first picture of Stiles poking Scott in the butt with a lacrosse stick?
These Teen Wolf guys are flush with the newness of it all, plus Dylan is either on drugs or...no, I'm gonna go with drugs, because that amuses me, and it's not a court of law or a publication at risk of libel suits: [link]
So I've been marathoning Pushing Daisies, and the big standout for me is 1) Kristen Chenoweth is AWESOME and the crap she took was hysterical and demeaning and she took it like a champ. Have some mud thrown on your face, let the dog slip you some tongue, etc.. And 2) Olive Snook is AWESOME and the star of the show. Forget Ned and Chuck and their treacle romance. Olive is where it's at. Olive's UST and URT is a full-fledged thing of beauty, in that she is the third wheel, yet has such a rich individual life and her one-sided romance doesn't come off as in service to the main romance, but almost something greater than it.
Yeah, Olive really shined, and I loved how they handled her character.
Okay, really? It's a pastime to send the showrunner Sterek exhortation? Like here: [link] or [link] ? And there are some really seasoned fandom people talking there...
Did I miss a step in the evolution of fandom? Is there a point at which it would have been appropriate to do that for Dean/Castiel or Neal/Peter or any other slash (or non-canon, let's be honest--shows are pretty clear about what ships they're entertaining and what they're not) ships?
Like...
Seeing a nice, steady handful of considerate and and thoughtful tweets to Jeff about wanting to see the Stiles/Derek relationship continue to grow in Season 3
Stiles/Derek relationship continue to grow...
that's not the same thing as Stiles+Derek relationship continue to grow. I'd contend the latter exists, and can therefore continue, but the formed is a thing that fans like and write stories about and an angle from which to interrogate the canon about and something to squee when canon throws you a bone, and to make art about and and and...as far as the actual
/
goes, it's not in the show.
Now, hey, season three might open with a slow pan up their naked legs entwined in bed. Congrats to the Sterek shippers if it does. But I don't that means a) it existed in S2, or b) it;s something to petition the writers for.
Why are we petitioning writers for
ANYTHING?
Seriously? Step away from the internet and ask that question...when did that become normal and acceptable? Yeah, sure, I've mentioned a couple, ah, costuming choices to a few writers or directors, but...I know I'm playing at bullshit. I honestly think it's rude to do seriously. Oh, if asked, I have lots of opinions, but that;s not the same thing.
