Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I find I like Kenzi a great deal, even if in real life I'd want to go upside her head at least once a week. Also stage an intervention for her....

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I would *not* hit her a remarkable amount, I think. Like, her good intentions don't mysteriously go awry every week, and she's not stupid or wacky.

And I think she's way sexier than Bo to boot.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Yes. Kenzi is one of my favorite parts of the show.

From what I have seen so far she can be very resourceful and helpful to Bo, but I did want to smack her when she ate the poisoned stew. Who goes into a strangers house and helps themselves to what is cooking on their stove? Add in the fact that it is a magical someone's stove and really she could have thought that one through better.

Compared to the dumb decisions Bo makes every day with her love life--enh. I'll give her that one.

Is that right from the beginning? I've only seen a few episodes, and she has just gotten to the point where she thinks she can sleep with humans without killing them so I don't know if things change after that.

Teen Wolf was renewed for a third season link. The third season will consist of 24 episodes, twice the length of the first two seasons.

I am entirely uninterested in Bo/Dyson/Lauren. I do like Dyson quite a bit, Lauren is starting to grate, and I'm relatively cold towards Bo in general. Call it the Kenzi-Hale show, and I'm all up in that shit.

You don't find Dyson kind of a jerk?

I think Bo could stand to take him at his word more.

OK no he is not currently being a jerk to Bo. He was only a jerk to Bo when he was in love with her. Now that he is being jerk to the woman who thinks he is in love with her. Doesn't he owe her the basic information that he fell out of love with Bo due to magic? Maybe even before he moves into a mansion with her?
