A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Teen Wolf:
Scott's mom was very Joyce-like last night.
Did Scott ever tell Allison about his super creepy encounter with her grandfather? Maybe I missed it.
How much do I love Stiles? "I am part of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures"
I wish Scott's mom and Stiles's dad would just find out about everything already.
Mrs. McCall at least should be, since she's been threatened by two of the people out to get Scott (and dated one of them!), and had a big multi-monster showdown happen in her house while she was at work.
Erica was a lot more tolerable this time around; I hope the positive changes in her personality aren't all an act to cozy up to Stiles.
Where'd Boyd disappear to?
Heh. "Have you tried NOT being a werewolf?"
Eureka: I totally called the writers doing a Bionic Woman on Holli (i.e. memory loss).
Eureka: I was sad to see that as one of the last episodes of Eureka. It was a good episode, but it isn't the type of episode I want to remember Eureka for. There has been too much seriousness in this season, and I was looking forward to more fun.

That's exactly the feeling I was trying to get at in my post. It's weird. If we were coming up on a season (rather than series) finale, I'd be all sorts of psyched about that trend.
I think I would be sick to death of Holli even if the show were getting a 6th season. Where's Illyria when we really need it to get rid of someone for good?

Exactly my feeling.
I can't believe that I'm not even interested in the finale anymore.
I thought the last two eps were fantastic, and a huge relief after three or four lackluster standalones. The two-parter actually got me interested in seeing what they pull out for the finale.
I don't need the writers to go out on a particularly funny or goofy tone. Eureka has always been able to hit some poignant emotional notes, and I keep being surprised that many people don't seem to like or remember that. The io9 recapper is "that's not this show". The show that killed Stark? Had Henry wipe Jack? Killed Kim? It's always been that show to me, and I was not so much hoping it would go out that way as simply expecting it.
And those are the performances of Colin's I have always liked the best, for over twenty years now--the "thought you were gonna laugh?"ones. I've always considered it a characteristic strength of his. So if the last plotline of the first show that properly showcased his talent highlights that, I will be a happy little TheatreSports judge.
