A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Man, someone started a thread on IO9 asking people to submit the whiniest bitches in sff. Yeah, not a landmine at all.
One poster (I'll throw in that she's 15, because the generous interpretation blames it on her age) named Will [sic] Wheaton, and said she'd change her position to "all of his roles" if I could provide concrete proof of his non-whiny non-bitchness in real life.
Why are people such douches?
Wow. I hope someone posted that video of him at the TNG reunion a little while ago. Even if I had disliked him (which I never did), that video would have gone a long way to redeem him.
It was the whole first-season cast on stage, and he at one point just makes a really graceful speech about how much he learned from them and how much he appreciates the experience now, even though he was kind of a jerk when he was younger.
Seriously--he's been as cool as someone with a nigh-universally hated character (and at such a young age) could be. I get defensive, and knowing that Colin and John Rogers would stand up for him without hesitating doesn't hurt.
But what am I supposed to say? My best friend likes him, so step off.
Wheaton is an exemplar of "Child Actors Who Grow Up Well Into Talented Nice Adults.". Which isn't all that common!
Seriously, I'd answer something like that with "go watch Stand By Me and then we'll talk."
If you’re on the west coast, and you haven’t recorded today’s episode of Korra yet, it runs about 3 minutes long. Adjust your DVRs.
So my Tivo cut out at the point where Turlock is putting Korra in the truck, and says she's never coming back to Republic City. Is that the end, or do I need to download it?
Speaking of Korra, here's a quite awesome piece of fanart:

Mine cut out there too. I failed to heed the East Coast warning! Woes.
