On my seventh birthday, I wanted a toy fire truck, and I didn't get it, and you were real nice about it, and then the house next door burnt down, and then real firetrucks came, and for years I thought you set the fire for me. And if you did, you can tell me!

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Oh, Fringe.

I need to go back and check my predictions. At least one of them was right.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Here is my obligatory comment about how Worcester is not pronounced Wooster.

They have set things up nicely for the future we saw a few episodes back, except of course Bell hasn't killed Olivia (yet), but that couldn't happen before their daughter is born anyway.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Wait - I've always pronounced it Wooster (at least that's how it sounds in my head to me when I say it). How is it pronounced? I KNOW it's not Worchester, which I have heard some people say.

Frank, Its more Whuhss than Woo (or somewhere in between those too, with more stress on the second half of the word than the first and always said fast. And of course if you're local more likely than not the "er" at the end is replaced with an "a" sound.
