'Our Mrs. Reynolds'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Zane was totally being a dick with his "decide now". But Zane is the dick, Jo wants so I'm glad she decided to kiss him and keep him.

I don't usually defend Zane, but I do think he had a right to call the question in the face of Jo's ambivalence. It's actually a more mature behavior than his usual "c'mon, be my girlfriend, you know you wanna!" approach.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I have to agree - what's dickish about not wanting to be indefinitely strung along?

Yeah, I tend to agree on that. It's hardly Zane's fault that they're the victims of that time-travel switcheroo: his lived experience has been that Jo has been very inconsistent (to be fair, not without reason).

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

My feeling though that the deadline should not be "right now". How about a week, or even a day. A deadline is not being dickish. 'out of time, decide this minute' is.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Oh, Fringe.

I need to go back and check my predictions. At least one of them was right.

I'm just happy about who is alive at the end.

But, "They are coming."

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Here is my obligatory comment about how Worcester is not pronounced Wooster.

They have set things up nicely for the future we saw a few episodes back, except of course Bell hasn't killed Olivia (yet), but that couldn't happen before their daughter is born anyway.
