And I wonder, what possible catastrophe came crashing down from heaven and brought this dashing stranger to tears?

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Well, Broyles and Nina have a history (well, I don't remember whether the alternate versions do as well), so I don't think it's necessary for him to be a shapeshifter to be a turncoat. He doesn't seem reluctant, so I don't think it's a leverage issue, but it's entirely possible that she's convinced him to help her using normal human means.

Good ep. Our Lincoln slays me, poor noodle. Also found it curious that Alt!Lincoln died off screen. I think he's gone deep undercover to try to figure out who the leak is. I don't know how, exactly, but given that was the last thing he was talking about to our Lincoln (finding the leak), that's what I think. Shut up.

All is well that ends in pizza.

There was some speculation at Mark Watches now that I've read the liveblog. That The Lincoln we saw delivering the shape shifter to Walter and Peter was Alt!Lincoln, and he's staying on "our" side..

I had the possible sense of that myself, DCJ. They do look alike, after all.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

As usual, I really liked the way Jasika played alt-Astrid (Altstrid?)

Someone on MW called her Kickasstrid, which I liked. The AV Club reviewer calls her Austrid, presumably because she's autistic, but it sounds too much like "ostrich."

something that stuck out to me was alt!Astrid callin Broyles "Agent Broyles" and not "Colonel". did they just miss that in filming/editing?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I finally watched the Legend of Korra episodes that are out. So good! It's just so nice to be in that world again. I am now seized with a powerful urge to rewatch all of A:TLA.

I checked that one a couple of times. It looked to me like a slip; that was def the Colonel Broyles version.
