something that stuck out to me was alt!Astrid callin Broyles "Agent Broyles" and not "Colonel". did they just miss that in filming/editing?
'Life of the Party'
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I finally watched the Legend of Korra episodes that are out. So good! It's just so nice to be in that world again. I am now seized with a powerful urge to rewatch all of A:TLA.

I checked that one a couple of times. It looked to me like a slip; that was def the Colonel Broyles version.
probably, but it also looked like alt!Astrid might have figured out that Broyles is a shapeshifter.
Jasika Nicole quit Twitter
I saw her "Twitter is not for me" tweet and thought "huh, bummer" but I had no idea there was so much drama around it.
The Red Universe doesn't have Batman!?!?!?!
Cause nothing says bad-ass like a flying rat? That whole exchange cracked me up. The writer's room was geeking out.
That is going to be one fucked-up, unhealthy relationship. THEY ARE IN LOVE WITH OTHER VERSIONS OF EACH OTHER.
Alt-Lincoln loved Fauxlivia. We never saw any indication that she felt the same way about him. Best friend? Sure. And the reference to him being a shoulder to cry on after her break-up with Shirtless Frank isn't enough to convince me of more.
Someone on MW called her Kickasstrid
I think Jasika Nicole started that.
There was some speculation at Mark Watches now that I've read the liveblog. That The Lincoln we saw delivering the shape shifter to Walter and Peter was Alt!Lincoln, and he's staying on "our" side..
Well, that would really change the vibe of that last scene, wouldn't it?
I would start watching Fringe, but I'm afraid it will go the way of X-Files and end up not making any dang sense.
Oh, I have no idea if it makes sense any more, but it's a hell of a ride. And X-Files comparisons are only superficially relevant.
At this point it's making much much more sense than the X-Files at the same length of seasons and plot.
Of course it helps that we've changed universes and timelines several times now so the writers don't have to worry about some small details not matching up.
Seriously, I'd highly recommend watching the series, and I felt VERY burned by X-Files. YDangSenseMV.

I second this. X-Files is a show that feels retroactively tainted to me because of how it ended up. Fringe's nonsense is a fun kind of nonsense, IMO.
popping in here quick to say this:
Abed is Mantis now
completely cracked my shit up
