You're right. He's evil. But you should see him naked. I mean really!

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

maybe it will spread to Walter and onward

I think that's already started happening. The Observer certainly implied as much, even if John Noble hadn't been playing it this way already. The whole world is changing, it looks like. She's just changing first and fastest.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I think John Noble has been playing it that way, at least a little. Walter has become more and more comfortable around Peter in recent episodes and started calling for him in the lab. It's certainly more subtle than what is happening with Olivia, but I think Walter and Peter's relationship is starting to feel more and more what we're used to.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

This may actually be the point of "Olivia Must Die" prophecy, now that I think on it.

That is interesting. And might make me feel better about the whole thing, oddly.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

The whole world is changing, it looks like. She's just changing first and fastest.

I would agree with this.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Is she really making a choice if she has no choice?

They fight in scenarios where people would consider there no choice. It's what they do. She doesn't have to accept or even look forward to what's happening, and she doesn't have to consider it inevitable. Within the narrative, she could certainly fight. She doesn't know what we do.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Does Fringe aim to fold all its different universes into one?

Does Fringe aim to fold all its different universes into one?

I certainly hope not. I think Alt-Livia is just as interesting as original flavor Olivia (if not as sympathetic), and the whole structure of the B universe is fascinating. Also, it's a universe in which Charlie Francis is still alive!

I don't think so.

Also, it's a universe in which Charlie Francis is still alive!

And with Prime Suspect gone he might be available again.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Since the new memories were "written back" to the point of Peter dying, one could make a case that Olivia and everyone else in this universe have only remembered it different.

I'm also interested in seeing one of those XKCD timeline things on the Fringeverse.
